Kristen has been an Austinite since 1990, where she attended the University of Texas, and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She began her career as a Postpartum nurse at Seton Medical Center, and later joined the Renaissance Women’s Center as a labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn nurse. In 2000, she began working as a staff nurse with the Renaissance Women’s Group. In 2006, she returned to graduate school where she received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. During this time she also became the Project Coordinator for RWG’s transition to electronic medical records. In 2008, she began working with RWG as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner.
She is recognized by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners as an Advanced Practice Nurse, and is certified as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation for Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties.
