Sarah Martaindale, M.D.

As many of you know, Dr. O’Connell has reformed women’s imaging in Central Texas. Now, she has a cohort who shares her vision and mission, Sarah Martaindale, M.D.

Dr. Martaindale grew up in the wooded lands of East Texas as one of five children. She completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University in 2002, before pursuing her dream of becoming a physician at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

After moving to Houston for her Internal Medicine Internship, Dr, Martindale accepted a fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging with an emphasis on Breast and Body Imaging at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

During Dr. Martindale’s time in Houston, she and her husband had their first child, who is now 3 1/2 years old. They absolutely love Austin and enjoy going for long walks to Zilker Park and appreciate the wonderful culture that only Austin can bring.

The passion that Dr. O’Connell has for breast imaging burns brightly in Dr. Martaindale. She has a keen interest in raising the level of awareness for high risk patients.
